Root Barrier is an inexpensive heavy duty plastic in 30 and 40 mil thicknesses.
Root Barrier is designed to manage or potentially stop the growth of roots that cause damage such as weakness, elevating, lowering or breakage in structures and landscapes. Root Barriers are placed in the ground blocking roots from excessively absorbing moisture from the ground and prevents the roots from reaching the foundation. The purpose of the barrier is to maintain soil moisture and redirect the roots downward.
