Americover Sales Will Benefit Hurricane Recovery
2% of sales to be donated to Habitat for Humanity
Hurricanes Irma and Harvey have devastated parts of Houston and South Florida. Recovery will be a long process. The East Texas gulf coast is also an important part of supply chains for Americover products. Harvey brought refinery operations in the region to a halt, and reports indicate 65% of U.S. polyethylene production has been disrupted.
To assist in the recovery effort, Americover is donating 2% of sales proceeds for 30 days to the Habitat for Humanity hurricane recovery fund. All product sales from September 14 to October 13 are included in the 2% donation.
For over four decades, Habitat for Humanity has helped build homes for those in need. Now, with the widespread destruction caused by hurricanes, Habitat for Humanity is on the ground ready to help affected residents restore and rebuild.
