Description
TempShield® Single Bubble Reflective Insulation meets fire and smoke safety requirements of most federal, state, and local building codes as a Class A/Class 1 fire rated material. It may be used as a vapor retardant and when reflectivity R-factors are required for metal and commercial buildings, stud walls, and roofing systems. When installed in the attic or basement it can increase energy savings. The bright aluminized film surface reflects up to 95% of all radiant heat and the thermal resistance is based on testing done on a calibrated hotplate using ASTM 518 test procedures.
TempShield® Single Bubble Reflective Insulation is available in two versions. TempShield® Single Bubble/Double Foil has one layer of 1/8″ barrier bubble film laminated between two layers of metalized film.
TempShield® Single Bubble White/Foil is two layers of 1/8″ barrier bubble film laminated between one layer of metalized film and one layer of white polyethylene film to make a nominal 1/4″ material.
