Americover's 10 mil Heat Shrink Wrap is great for commercial and industrial applications. This product is a virgin polyethylene plastic sheet, containing virgin plastic resins. Our 10 mil heat shrink film will shrink in all directions once it is subjected to heat from one of our heat shrink guns. This stretch wrap will shrink to about 20-25% of the original surface dimensions. Once the shrink film (stretch film) has been heated it molds itself in a tight fitting, skin-like protective covering. It can be used on just about any structure.
Americover also provides shrink wrap accessories including: heat shrink tape, strapping, heat shrink guns, vents, doors, strap tensioning tool, and buckles.
This heat shrink stretch film contains fire retardant (FR) additives, and ultraviolet inhibitor (UVI) additives. UV inhibitors significantly extend the life span of the film for those applications involving exposure to the sun.

• Heat Shrink Wrap creates a cohesive structure and keeps film from buffeting in the wind, C&A Film is generally taped or stapled in place and is very prone to buffeting in the wind. This often causes failure of containment or covering.

• Americover Shrink Wrap is made from virgin resins for added quality control
• C&A Film is made from the least expensive resins available, including regrind, reprocessed, and post consumer recycled resins; C&A Film has much lower quality standards.
