Why are some products available online, but I have to call to purchase others?
We offer a wide variety of product solutions, some of which require custom fabrication. Americover has a wide range of stocked sized products available to ship within 24-48hrs of receiving your order during normal business hours. We understand that no job is the same so we offer custom products that are manufactured to your specifications.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, Americover accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express, as well as PayPal.
How long does it take to process orders, and when will my credit card be charged?
We typically process orders within 24-48 hours (M-F) of receipt. If paying with a credit card, you will be charged when the order ships. This may result in multiple charges on your credit card if items ship separately.
Do I have to pay sales tax?
Americover, Inc. is required to immediately collect sales tax in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Texas, Washington & Wisconsin. Note that 39 states are implementing this nexus (see attached map). When Americover reaches the thresholds in a state that states sales tax will apply. Please provide a complete exemption or resale certificate as soon as possible if your purchases from Americover, Inc. fall under any of the sales taxing requirements as set forth by these specific states. Do you offer credit terms?
Yes, we do offer Net30 to qualifying candidates who meet the minimum requirements. In some cases, a deposit may be required to secure a large purchase, and terms may be set thereafter.
Do you have special pricing for contractors and/or distributors?
Yes, we service a wide range of customers, and in most cases, we offer a discounted price on various products for contractors bidding jobs or for distributors who will resell the products.
Can you help me if I have product specifications for an application?
Yes, Americover has knowledgeable reps who can help you match the exact product or find an equivalent.
What is a mil?
A mil is a unit of measure equal to one thousandth (10-3) of an inch or .0254 millimeter.
Shipping & Returns
Do all online orders really include free shipping?
Yes. All online stock orders qualify for free shipping. All quote requests, however, will have a separate line item for potential shipping charges. Since there are multiple factors to consider when fulfilling quote requests we are unable to accommodate free shipping on these types of orders.
How soon will my order ship after I’ve ordered it?
Most orders ship same day when placed Monday through Friday; otherwise orders are processed the following business day. If the order is custom-fabricated or a special order, the lead time can be anywhere from 1-3 weeks, depending on the specifications required.
When will my tracking be available?
Once your order ships, your tracking will be available within 24 hours, M-F. The tracking number will be included in your email confirmation with your invoice receipt.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! Call 833-261-6501 to get a quote for your international shipment.
Why is free shipping limited to the contiguous United States?
Shipments going to states and countries outside of the contiguous US incur additional handling fees. Contact our representatives at 833-261-6501 to request a shipping quote if you have an order going to HI, AK, PR, or an international country.
How can I get my order expedited?
Call 833-261-6501. We offer NDA, 2 day & 3 day expedited shipping services on orders placed prior to 1pm pacific time.
What should I do if my product was delivered damaged?
If upon delivery, you see there is damage, take pictures of the damage, and then make a note of the BOL or UPS receiving ticket. You have the option to refuse the shipment or accept it with the damage noted. Call our customer service team and we will work to get the issue resolved.
If you were unable to reject the order, take pictures of the damage close up, 5ft away and 15ft away, and send us an email with a description of the damage and the photos. We will do our best to resolve the issue.
All Defective, Damage and Shortage claims must be reported to Americover within 48 hours of delivery. When possible please notate any discrepancies on the BOL/Delivery Receipt.
**Damaged product must be kept on site for possible inspection until the claim is closed. Some claims may take 3-4 weeks to process.
Do you accept returns?
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 concerns, until further notice Americover will no longer be accepting/processing returns. In a normal environment, we would have accepted the return with a 25% restocking fee and you pay the freight back. We hope to return to our original policy soon. Thank you for understanding.
How do I submit a return?
Custom products cannot be returned. Stock items can be returned with prior authorization in original packaging within 90 days of ship date. A copy of the packing slip or the original invoice must accompany the return. *NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THESE DOCUMENTS*
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment within 5 – 7 business days of receiving the returned item(s). A re-stocking fee of 25% is deducted from the total refund amount. (Exception: defective or damaged product) The address for the return will be given with the RA number.
How will I be compensated for returned purchases?
We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or if the return is a result of an internal error. If the item is returned for any other reason, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and may be charged a 25% restocking fee. Credits are issued in the original payment method within 10 days of receiving the returned item.

What if my product has a defect?
Notify us within three months of date of purchase with photos of the damage, close up, 5ft away and 15ft away and sent it to us with a description of the damage, and we will assess the damage and provide you with a Return Material Authorization (RMA) if we deem the product defective.
Do you have warranty coverage?
The information provided on statements, technical sheets, and recommendations provided by Americover, Inc. is based upon data believed to be reliable. All testing is performed in accordance with ASTM standards and procedures. All values are typical and nominal and do not represent either minimum or maximum performance of the product. Although the information is accurate to the best of our knowledge and belief, no representation of warranty or guarantee is made as to the suitability or completeness of such information. Likewise, no representation of warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, or merchantability, fitness or otherwise, is made as to product application for a particular use. Americover shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, either direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or inability to use the products. Before using and/or purchasing, user shall determine the suitability of the product for its intended use, and the purchaser and/or user assumes all risk and liability.
