Americover's 9 mil Heat Shrink Wrap is the right choice for jobs with medium or low wind. 9 mil stretch film is good for commercial and residential applications. Made of virgin plastic resins this 9 mil shrink wrap will out perform its competitors of the same thickness. To start the biaxial shrinking process simply subject the 9 mil film to heat from one of our heat shrink guns. Typical applications should expect to see the film shrink to about 20-25% of the original dimensions. Once the stretch film has been heated it turns into in a tight fitting, second skin-like, protective covering. It can be used on just about any structure.
Americover also provides shrink wrap accessories including: heat shrink tape, strapping, heat shrink guns, vents, doors, strap tensioning tool, and buckles. This heat shrink stretch film contains fire retardant (FR) additives, and ultraviolet inhibitor (UVI) additives.
