High-Strength, 3-Ply Laminate Construction
Engineered with a 3-ply laminate, Tuff-Scrim™ Clear Reinforced Poly Sheeting combines two layers of UV-stabilized coextruded virgin polyethylene with a high-strength cord grid. This combination of multiple layers provides puncture and tear resistance that can withstand even the most demanding conditions.
UV Stabilization and Cold-Crack Resistance
Manufactured with UV inhibitors, 6 Mil Tuff-Scrim™ Clear Reinforced Poly Sheeting doesn’t degrade from prolonged sun exposure like other plastic sheeting. Its cold-crack resistance prevents failures in extreme temperatures, making it great for locations with significant temperature swings.
Moisture Protection and Flexibility
Tuff-Scrim™ Reinforced Poly Sheeting meets ASTM E96 standard test methods for water vapor transmission of materials. This test indicates that the material effectively prevents unwanted moisture migration.
Custom Sizes Available
Most standard roll sizes ship within five business days. A standard roll of Tuff-Scrim™ Reinforced Poly Sheeting ranges from 4′ x 100′ to 40′ x 100′ in 4-foot width increments. Standard length and width tolerances are ± 1% (minimum 2″) with a production lead time of 5 days or less. For unique project specifications, custom sizes up to 100′ x 200′ with quick production lead times of 5 days or less.
Tuff-Scrim™ products are also available in thicknesses up to 20 mil.
