6 Mil Tuff-Scrim™ White Reinforced Poly Sheeting is built to provide protection regardless of the elements, with a life expectancy ranging from 8 to 24 months.
High-Strength Construction
Developed using a 3-ply laminate structure, Tuff-Scrim™ Reinforced Poly Sheeting combines two UV-stabilized coextruded virgin polyethylene layers with a high-strength cord grid. This added durability extends the material’s life, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
UV Stabilization and Cold-Crack Resistance
6 Mil Tuff-Scrim™ White Reinforced Poly Sheeting contains UV stabilization and cold-crack resistance properties, ensuring functionality in extreme temperatures. Some plastics can become brittle and prone to cracking, compromising their effectiveness as a protective barrier. Tuff-Scrim™ maintains its integrity and flexibility in freezing temperatures.
Moisture Protection
Tuff-Scrim™ Reinforced Poly Sheeting is also a certified vapor barrier. With low perm ratings and lightweight composition, it is an excellent option for moisture protection during cold exposure. Six mil is the thinnest material option for vapor barriers.
