6 Mil LDPE Resin Blend — Built for Jobsite Conditions

BearAcade® is manufactured from a durable low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin blend at 6 mil (0.006 in.) gauge, confirmed by ASTM D3652 testing. The film delivers 2,792 psi tensile strength in the machine direction (ASTM D882) and 1,094% elongation at break (ASTM D882). In practical terms: this film stretches before it tears. Roll scaffolding over it, run foot traffic across it all day, subject it to active demolition conditions — BearAcade® holds without puncturing.

No-Billow Performance Under Negative Air Pressure

This is where BearAcade® separates from ordinary poly. When negative pressure builds inside a containment held up by duct tape and poly, the tape releases.
